A highly accomplished leader in the field of software and technology, Bridgett Ojeda brings a keen sense of leadership and business acumen to the table. With a demonstrable history of success in the field, Bridgett is uniquely skilled at technology implementation, as well as strategic vision. She has a history of successes in crafting action plans for software, hardware, network, and database standards, as well as for software development methodology, tools, and processes.
Bridgett currently serves as director of the project management office (PMO) with Bryan Health, a nonprofit healthcare organization. In this highly visible role, she leads the PMO and performance excellence team to execute technology initiatives across the organization. She develops the IT strategy, leads advisory teams through the full cycle of various projects, and conducts project management training to enhance project managers’ abilities to apply key principles. She successfully delivered savings of nearly $900K by earning a performance rebate from Epic Systems because of the company’s rank out of 450 peer organizations. Earlier, she was Epic project director, where she directed the implementation of Epic software for patient management, while managing a $154M budget. She also built out the capabilities needed to support the Epic implementation, and hired more than 60 external consultants to facilitate the seamless integration of the software.
Perhaps even more important than her technical acumen are her strategic leadership qualities. Anyone with a solid understanding of new and emerging technologies can build complex programs and manage intricate platforms. Bridgett is able to do that while also being a servant-leader of her team. She believes that by serving a higher purpose and helping the people she leads to become the best they can be, everyone can achieve great results. By building a culture of trust, and by ensuring that everyone is positioned to achieve success, she positions all stakeholders to have a share in creating and realizing value.
Bridgett holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Doane University. She is a Project Management Professional (PMI); a Board Director of the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society; and a volunteer with the Make A Wish Foundation and Junior Achievement. She presently lives in the Omaha, Nebraska, area.
